The committee would like to thank Barry Turner-Flynn for his 3 years with the club, developing the Colts and progressing our long term objective to integrate Juniors into the senior playing group.
Barry is always welcome at Stags and we hope to see him at the Club in the future. In his role as Cambs U17 Head Coach he will continue to have a positive impact on Stags young players.
Moving forward for next season DoR Simon Leader adds First Team Captain and PE Teacher Wayne Bradley to the coaching set up. Wayne will assist Dave Thomas and Nick Mitchell with training during the week, with DT and Nick leading on match days.
Wayne will also support Simon in his wider coaching strategy and development of coaches and players across the club .
This is the next step in achieving the clubs long term objectives, ensuring player development across the club by making best use of Simon’s extensive experience working for the Northampton Saints DPP program, Cambridge Academy, lead Coach at Impington College and Head of Rugby at Wisbech Grammar school, as well as Wayne’s extensive playing and coaching experience.
