That time of year again and Huntingdon Rugby Club’s Picnic Ball preparations are under way (apologies a little later than normal).
After consideration we have decided to keep to the current format and the majority of those spoken to were in favour of the picnic style once again. The ball committee will review additional extras and look to introduce some new additions to the evening.
So details for 2020…..
Date: Saturday 25th April 2020
Time: 7pm glass of fizz available on arrival to sit down for 7.30pm – carriages will need to be arranged from midnight.
Location: Huntingdon Rugby Club (racecourse)
Price: £40 per person – tables of 10 or 12 available

Please remember the event is a Picnic Ball which means you will need to bring your own plates, cutlery, food, drink etc. If you are ordering takeaway all should be sat down for 7.45/8.00pm - there will be a wine bar for purchases of £10 per bottle should you run out as well as the popular real ale available in the clubhouse.
The marquee will be open from Friday 24th April at 3.00pm for decorating of tables, access will then be available from Saturday morning until late Saturday afternoon, the table judging will commence at 6.00pm - your tables need to be decorated by 5.30pm at the latest!
Your commitment on the night will be to purchase some raffle tickets, provide one bottle of wine per table for the ‘Wheelbarrow of wine’ raffle prize and to participate in a very quick game of heads and tails for £1 per person.
On Sunday, we need to use the marquee for various events scheduled at the club so please can we ask for all tables to cleared by 10.45am at the latest. On the night you will be provided with as many bin bags as required and there will be a skip available for all the bags so a quick tidy up at the end could save some hard work in the morning.
Payment is required in full by Friday 3rd April - details below please make reference to your ball table co-ordinator (the person who is organising/booking the table) when making online payments.
