Following on from the inaugural Max Hunter Memorial game held earlier this season between Huntingdon and Stamford, Max's parents are organising the 'Three Farm Walk' on New Years Day, in memory of Max and raising funds for Papyrus UK.
The walk will begin at 1100rs and will start and finish at Max's parents farm, Station House, Tilbrook. The whole walk is around 8 miles with an entry fee of £10 per person, and should be completed in around 3 hours, and will be a great way to clear the head and blow away a few cobwebs after the festive period! There will be food and drink provided at all the farms en route, and there is only a minimal amount of walking next to roads, most of the walking will be on tracks and footpaths. Children and dogs are welcome, free of charge.
To register for the walk, you can find entry details here.
PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide, and exists to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives by shattering the stigma around suicide and equipping young people and their communities with the skills to recognise and respond to suicidal behaviour.
